It was a special day for Sara Bigatti and for 90 students aged 12 to 14 from the Vambay Colony school, located in one of the slums of Vijayawada, India, where CARE TO ACTION has been working for more than 30 years.

Sara, CARE TO ACTION Ambassador, yoga teacher and founder of La Scimmia Yoga, together with her husband, led a live online yoga class for the students.

Yoga is one of the after-school activities included in the educational programme, helping children and young people develop concentration, self-awareness and overall well-being.

This online session became much more than a lesson: it was an opportunity to connect and share experiences. The students had the chance to meet Sara and practice yoga with her, while Sara was able to connect directly with one of the communities that CARE TO ACTION supports every day in India.
