SCHOOL AND WORK

YOUNG ADULTS

For a young person, especially one who has grown up in an environment characterised by poverty, scarce family support and discrimination, it is extremely difficult to find a place in the world of work. Even more so in the case of young women, who are often prematurely pushed by their families into marriage and traditionally destined for domestic care, childcare and family care. CARE TO ACTION, through School 4 Future, wants to provide these young people with pathways to economic independence through work.

TOWARDS AUTONOMY

WHO WILL YOU SUPPORT?

The boys and girls of School 4 Future are deserving young people from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds. The aim of CARE TO ACTION is to promote talent by supporting children with brilliant school achievements or extremely enterprising so that they can make the most of their personal resources and thus break out of the circle of poverty. Some of them are promising youngsters in the distance support programme, but without a sponsor who can continue to support them during their university career. Allowing a deserving Indian student to go to university means not only granting him/her the chance to crown his/her professional goal and become an autonomous, free and independent individual, but also investing in the future of his/her country.
