THE ACTION OF WOMEN

UNITED WE CAN

SHGs (self-help groups) are women's self-help groups, developed in India, mainly in rural areas. CARE TO ACTION promotes the establishment of these groups and supports them so that women can make their voices heard, identify problems and find solutions by themselves. As well as providing a supporting network for its members, the SHGs become a privileged interlocutor to monitor the needs of the individual and the community and enable CARE TO ACTION to intervene effectively.

SELF HELP GROUP

WHO WILL YOU SUPPORT?

CARE TO ACTION collaborates with the SHGs existing in the areas in which it operates to serve women who have sought a form of help in the group. Here they can find a way to earn some money, support for child management, an opportunity to spend time outside home, offer the group their experiential and economic contribution, and the hope of the reversal of a highly restrictive condition, especially for women.
