IN INDIAN VILLAGES

RURALS

CARE TO ACTION focuses on renovating and securing Anganwadis, mother and child care centers mainly located in rural areas, to aid and protection to children and their mothers. It also organizes training activities for Anganwadi staff and community parents, aimed at developing good nutritional practices, a larger culture of hygiene, and basic education fundamentals. The creation of educational gardens serves as an example for the entire community: in addition to providing food for children, it allows them to be taken as a model to replicate at home to ensure better nutrition for families with a small family garden.

FROM ANGANWADIS TO COMMUNITIES

WHO WILL YOU SUPPORT?

This project aims at contributing to the fight against child malnutrition, a scourge affecting 66 million Indian children. CARE TO ACTION structures its intervention starting from Anganwadis, the reference of every rural community and every slum, serving newborns, preschool children, and new mothers. Acting promptly on mother and child health by informing and educating about proper nutritional and hygiene practices, welcoming children in healthy and safe facilities, conducting monitoring on their growth and health, and providing balanced meals gives concrete support to the protection of children's health.
