MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

With distance support you can change a life forever. Your generosity will improve the education, health and protection of children's rights, generating change that is sustainable over time and will have an impact on future generations. You will be able to see, step by step, the growth of the child you support and verify with your own eyes the change you will have helped generate, accompanying him or her on their path towards autonomy and independence; it will be a direct, deep and lasting bond that will unite two people who are physically distant but emotionally close.

A SMALL CONTRIBUTION TO CHANGE A LIFE

WHO WILL YOU SUPPORT?

Recipients are marginalised children and young people, exposed to the risk of early school dropout and falling victim of various forms of abuse, exploitation and violence. Often reported by schools or territorial authorities, some of them belong to the caste of the untouchables, the last step of the Indian social system that relegates them to the margins of society. Others, on the other hand, are Adivasis, that is, they belong to the tribal groups originating in India, discriminated and relegated to live in limited and isolated territories. Others are orphans or have been disunited from their family. Some others are physically and/or mentally disabled. CARE TO ACTION has always paid special attention to the situation of women in India, which is why about 60% of children in the distance sponsorship programme are women.
