Solidarity leave: the Dekkapuram school

In the tribal village of Dekkapuram, India, 40 children from five different communities attend the Aldo Andreazzo Primary School every day.

Aldo was a teacher who saw his profession as a mission. Thanks to his solidarity leave and the support of many donors, we were able to build a school where there had never been one before, giving children the opportunity to receive a quality education.

Aldo’s story is a testament to how a solidarity leave can have a lasting impact, transforming into a tangible opportunity for an entire community.

Making a solidarity leave is a simple choice that can be changed over time and does not infringe upon the rights of any immediate family members or close relatives.
