Anganwadi are not only kindergartens and support centres for mothers but, especially in the rural areas of India, they also represent a real point of reference and counselling for adolescent girls.

Thanks to funds from Otto per Mille of the Waldensian Church, we organised a series of meetings dedicated to the world of women, involving 20 women teachers and assistants of these structures, as well as the staff of our partner in India.

The training was carried out in collaboration with Eco-Femme, an association specialised in women’s issues, with the aim of raising awareness and training the staff of these centres, giving them the tools to deal with often complex issues with due sensitivity and competence.
