FUTURE OF INDIA: TAKE STOCK

Activities first semester

Future of India – the project in which we collaborate with several Italian and Indian partners, including the Commission for International Adoptions – is carrying out various activities aimed at improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable children, from birth to 18 years of age.

Interventions are concentrated in a slum in Chennai (Kannagi Nagar) and in Vijayawada, in particular in five slums (Kandrika, Vambey Colony, New Rajarajeswaripeta, YSR Colony and Rajivnagar) and in the Mangoes Home, our family home that supports and accommodates 28 minors.

The international cooperation project has four different objectives:

  • improvement of nutritional conditions
  • reducing school dropout rates
  • child safety and protection
  • awareness of children’s rights
